Image Descriptions for GSC Looker Studio Template for Page & Keyword Analysis

Below are high-level image descriptions for the charts located in my Google Search Console (GSC) Looker Studio Template. These images provide a big-picture view without diving into the specifics, as the data they represent is always on the move, updating monthly or even daily.

Overview

  1. Impressions (Bar Graph): This graph shows the number of impressions over time, with indicators for Month-over-Month (MoM), Year-over-Year (YoY), and Year-to-Date (YTD) changes.
  2. Clicks (Bar Graph): Similar to the impressions graph, it tracks the number of clicks over time, with MoM, YoY, and YTD change indicators.
  3. Search Types (Icon Grid with Numbers): This area summarizes the number of impressions, clicks, and average rank for the different types of search results, which are web, image, video, and discover.
  4. Pages & Keywords (Table): This table lists search queries alongside website pages and shows associated impressions, clicks, and rank metrics for each combination.
  5. Devices (Bar Graph): Shows the distribution of clicks coming from different devices, which are desktop, mobile, and tablet.
  6. Countries (World Map with Metrics): Displays a world map indicating where impressions and clicks are originating from, with a table listing specific metrics for each country.

Pages

  1. URL Visibility Metrics (Metrics Table): This table presents performance metrics for impressions, clicks, and the number of keywords, with indicators for Month-over-Month (MoM) and Year-over-Year (YoY) changes.
  2. URL Visibility Trends (Line Graph): This graph displays the trend of clicks over time, comparing current clicks to the clicks from the previous month.
  3. Subfolders (Pie Chart with Table): A pie chart illustrating the percentage distribution of impressions among various website subfolders, accompanied by a table listing impressions and clicks for each subfolder along with their rank.
  4. Ranking URLs (Table): A table listing specific file names of web pages, showing the number of impressions, clicks, the change in these metrics, and their current rank.
  5. Ranking Keywords (Table): This table provides a list of search queries (keywords), with the corresponding rank for each keyword and the change in rank compared to a previous time period.

Keywords

  1. # Ranking Keywords (Bar Graph): A bar graph showing the total number of ranking keywords, with performance metrics including Month-over-Month (MoM), Year-over-Year (YoY), and Year-to-Date (YTD) changes.
  2. Keyword Distribution by Rank (Metrics Boxes): Three boxes displaying the number of keywords that rank within different ranges (#1-10, #11-20, #21+), including MoM and YoY changes for each range.
  3. Keyword Performance (Scatter Plot): A scatter plot mapping keywords by their average position against impressions, visually showing the performance and distribution of keywords in search rankings.
  4. Rank #1-10 (Table): A table listing queries that rank in the top 10 positions with their current rank and change in rank.
  5. Rank #11-20 (Table): A table listing queries that rank between positions 11 to 20 with current rank and any change.
  6. Rank #21+ (Table): This table lists queries that rank beyond the top 20 positions with their rank and change in rank.
  7. Ranking URLs (Table): A table that shows file names of web pages and their corresponding impression and rank metrics, illustrating the performance of specific pages in search rankings.

Devices

  1. Device Ownership (Donut Chart with Table): A donut chart displaying the proportion of impressions and clicks from different devices (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet), with a corresponding table showing metrics for impressions, clicks, and average rank for each device type.
  2. Device Trends (Bar Graph): A bar graph showing a trend over time for impressions across different devices. It allows for the selection of different metrics to be displayed.
  3. URL Device Performance (Pivot Table): A table that lists web page file names with a breakdown of impressions, clicks, and rank across different devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
  4. Query Device Performance (Pivot Table): This table shows search queries with corresponding performance metrics (impressions, clicks, and rank) for each device type.

Countries

  1. Country Filter (Sidebar with Numbers): A sidebar that lists countries with a filter function, showing the number of clicks from each country.
  2. Country Performance (World Map with Table): A world map indicating geographic performance, accompanied by a table detailing impressions, clicks, the number of keywords, and the rank for selected countries.
  3. Country Trends (Stacked Bar Graph): This graph illustrates trends over time in multiple countries, using a stacked bar format to show performance across different periods.
  4. Keywords Filter (Table): A table showing search queries with metrics for impressions, clicks, and average rank, with a filtering option to refine the data displayed.
  5. URL Filter (Table): Similar to the Keywords Filter, this table lists webpage file names and shows metrics for impressions, clicks, and the number of ranking keywords, also with a filtering function.

Types

  1. Web Property (Bar and Line Graph with Table): Displays the number of impressions and clicks for the web property over time, with metrics for Month-over-Month (MoM) and Year-over-Year (YoY) changes. Below is a table listing specific web pages with their impression and click data.
  2. Image Property (Bar and Line Graph with Table): Shows the impressions and clicks for image search results over time, along with MoM and YoY changes. A table lists file names related to image content and the respective impression and click metrics.
  3. Video Property (Bar and Line Graph with Table): This graph illustrates the number of impressions (and URL clicks indicated on the line graph) for video content, with MoM and YoY metrics. The table below contains file names presumably related to video content.
  4. Discover Property (Bar and Line Graph): Presents impressions and clicks for content found through Google’s Discover feature, showing MoM and YoY changes. The accompanying table indicates there is no data for file names under this property.
